Get up close and personal with some of the best stand-up comedians on the circuit with your local comedy club, hosted by Ravi Holy.
Alasdair is a legendary comedian, in that there is little historical evidence that he exists. But he does exist. Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2017, Alasdair has featured on BBC radio as a comedian and sketch writer, and performed stand-up across the UK, at Glastonbury, Citadel Fest, the Udderbelly Southbank and at the Edinburgh Fringe. He knows quite a lot about 19th century magicians. Tourists often ask to have their photo taken with him, presumably impressed by this.
Multi award winning comedian Niamh Marron, has supported PJ Gallagher, Luisa Omielan, David Mc Savage, Al Porter, Foil, Arms & Hog and Gearoid Farrelly. She was 1 of 3 comedians chosen to perform in the infamous Vicar St venue for ‘Dublin Does Comic Relief’, and later again in the same venue along side comic legends Eddie Izzard, Tommy Tiernan and Dara O’Briain.
In 2012 Niamh performed in Leicester Square Theatre, London and proved a firm favourite with both the crowd and judges alike. She claimed her place and prize as runner up in The Funny Women Awards.
